Jennifer Pfau-Flores (Field Trip Chair) is UAS drone pilot and GIS specialist at Cal Engineering and Geology in Walnut Creek, CA. She received her B.S. in Geology, Emphasis in Geophysics and Earth Exploration in 2018 from Cal Poly Pomona. Her background includes using multiple subsurface geophysical methods such as HVSR and MASW to determine seismic response and depths of sliding planes at various Southern California site locations. Her recent work in the Bay Area has involved using UAS and remote sensing techniques to perform a range of computational analyses, oversight of subsurface exploration related to drilling and sampling methods, logging of borings, and construction field technician responsibilities.
