Katherine (Kate) Zeiger (Chair) is an engineering geologist in San Francisco, CA. She is a Bay Area native that received a B.S. from UC Santa Barbara in 2011 and M.S. from University of Nevada, Reno in 2014. Ms. Zeiger has been a member of AEG since 2014 and has served on the board since 2017. Her professional experience includes design-phase geotechnical investigations for improvement, replacement, or new construction of dams, tunnels, and freeways, construction-phase work of similar projects, and associated planning, reporting, and data analysis. Her work has mostly focused in Northern California, but she has experience working in Southern California, Nevada, Arizona, Southwest  Texas, Oregon, and Northern Michigan.
