The California Chapters of AEG are represented in Sacramento by G.V. Ayers, a lobbyist who tracks bills submitted by our legislature on issues affecting our profession.

The Board of Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists meets regularly to discuss pertinent issues to the practice.  Your support at the Board and Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) group meetings is welcomed!  Information on the meeting schedule, as well as meeting minutes and agendas, can be found on the BPELSG website.

AEG’s Licensure Committee additionally oversees the tracking of bills on a state-by-state basis using a legislative tracking software.  If you are interested in tracking and responding to licensure or professional practice issues in your area, contact us!
