Meeting schedule for 2022!

We are happy to announce an exciting lineup for 2022! With a new year comes a renewed hope we will return to some sense of normal and a return to in-person gatherings. We were hoping to begin in-person meetings in late 2021, but varying mandates and the rise of the omicron variant led us to postpone any in-person meetings to Spring of 2022 (a million thanks to Dave Simpson for being so flexible so he could be our first in-person presentation in two years).

Your Health is Our Priority!

AEGSF is actively monitoring the current Coronavirus outbreak and we want you to know that your health and safety are our priority!

All of our in-situ events are currently postponed until further notice but we’re already looking forward to picking things back up very soon! (geologic time scale…)

STAY TUNED for our new Metamorphic Meeting format in cyberspace!

In the mean time, we’re in this together! Please stay healthy and safe:

  • Keep your physical distance.
  • Wash your hands frequently, with soap and water, for at least 20 seconds.
  • Cough / sneeze into your elbow or a tissue, not your hands. Then wash your hands anyways!
  • If you can get out for a short walk, get some fresh air!
  • If you see a tasty rock, think twice before it joins your collection… and wash your hands!
