Thanks to initiative from Morley John and Maggie Parks, our chapter’s Legislative Committee is back in the saddle and getting actively involved in our state legislative and lobbying efforts! Morley has stepped up to be our new Legislative Chair, and Maggie is our first active legislative committee member. This committee’s first order of business will be to network with our colleagues in the Sacramento and Southern California chapters to coordinate our lobbying efforts at the state level.
