Central coast, full-service environmental engineering firm specializing in groundwater and soil remediation, including operations in UST and AST removal, asbestos and lead abatement, is seeking a highly motivated and responsible engineering geologist with three to eight years experience in the geological consulting and engineering industry. In working for a wide variety of public and private sector clients, this person will support and/or manage the planning and performance of environmental projects, including but not limited to field investigations; site characterization; phase I, II, and III environmental site assessments; soil, soil vapor, and groundwater sampling and analysis; geologic mapping; well monitoring and installation; directing subcontractors and other site personnel. Office duties include report writing, managing project schedules and budgets, permitting, and communications with clients and regulatory agencies.

B.S. in geology, geological engineering or related field required. PG, RG, or PE licensing preferred, Osha Hazwopper, California state licensing for Contractor A and HAZ, Asbestos, or Well Drilling (C-57) a plus. Strong organizational skills, able to work independently and in a team environment. This is a part to full-time position. Independent, licensed subcontractors also considered depending on projects.
