Breaking news from Italy… San Francisco has been selected to host the IAEG/AEG Congress in 2018!  This will be a joint meeting of IAEG and AEG and the first time an IAEG Meeting or Congress has been hosted in the United States.

AEG’s bid was presented by Scott Burns and Jeff Keaton with support by Gary Luce and Ken Fergason on September 14, 2014 during the IAEG Congress in Torino, Italy.  Special thanks to the bid chairs: Garry Maurath, Sarah Kalika, Tom Barry, and the team who has assisted thus far.  Now the real work begins to plan this fantastic event!  If you’re interested in joining the planning committee, please contact Sarah Kalika (chair@aegsf.org).  We will need assistance with field trip planning, symposia, and sponsorship.
