About

AEG was founded in California and has been supporting professionals in engineering and environmental geology since 1957.

The Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists (AEG) contributes to its members’ professional success and the public welfare by providing leadership, advocacy, and applied research in environmental and engineering geology.

Our group is a chapter of AEG, currently headquartered in Ohio.  Potential members must join AEG, then choose San Francisco as their local chapter to receive membership benefits including the AEG News, AEG Insider electronic newsletter, access to the AEG/GSA Journal: Environmental & Engineering Geology, member discounts for Annual Meetings, Chapter meetings, short courses, and more.
